MIDWEST ROOTS
Brian Christopher Bock’s story begins in the Midwest, grounded in values of service, faith, and community that were instilled early in his life. Raised in Indiana by a Lutheran schoolteacher mother and a Lutheran pastor father, Brian grew up in a household where helping others was not just encouraged—it was expected. His parents modeled lives of purpose: one shaping young minds in the classroom, the other guiding a congregation with compassion and integrity. Those early influences left a lasting mark, forming the foundation of Brian’s character and his belief that strong communities are built through service, accountability, and care for one another.
Education played a central role in Brian’s upbringing, and he carried that commitment forward into his own academic journey. After graduating from Lutheran High School of Indianapolis, he attended Valparaiso University, where he pursued a rigorous double major in Biology and Chemistry. Driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, Brian continued his education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2012. It was during this time that he not only refined his scientific expertise but also began to see healthcare as a deeply human endeavor—one that requires trust, accessibility, and empathy.
In 2014, Brian and his wife put down roots in Wisconsin, where they are raising their two teenage daughters. Like many families, they are invested in their community—not just as residents, but as active participants in shaping its future. For Brian, being a parent has further deepened his understanding of the challenges facing families today, from education and healthcare to the rising cost of living. It has also reinforced his belief that public service should always be grounded in real-life experience and a genuine connection to the people being served.

A CAREER OF SERVICE TO OTHERS
Professionally, Brian has built a career that blends clinical expertise with community leadership. As the Director of Clinical Services at Hayat Pharmacy, he oversees a network of 19 independent community pharmacies across Southeast Wisconsin. In this role, he leads teams of pharmacists who provide frontline care in some of the region’s most underserved and diverse neighborhoods. His work extends far beyond dispensing medications—he has been instrumental in organizing vaccination clinics, managing medication therapy programs, and delivering in-home consultations for patients who might otherwise fall through the cracks of the healthcare system.
Brian’s work places him at the intersection of healthcare access, public health, and community trust. He has seen firsthand how gaps in coverage and affordability can delay treatment, worsen outcomes, and create unnecessary stress for families. He has also worked collaboratively with local health organizations and task forces to address systemic challenges, from chronic disease management to culturally competent care. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Brian serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students across Wisconsin, helping to train the next generation of healthcare professionals.
This professional experience is a key reason Brian is well-qualified to serve in the Wisconsin State Assembly. He understands complex systems, manages budgets and teams, and works daily to solve real-world problems that impact people’s lives. Just as importantly, he brings a practical, solutions-oriented mindset—one shaped not by political ambition, but by years of listening to patients, families, and community members.
Brian’s commitment to public service is also evident in his role as Treasurer of the Greendale School Board. In that capacity, he has helped guide financial decision-making for the district, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used responsibly while prioritizing resources for students and educators. His work on the board has given him direct experience with the challenges facing public schools, including funding gaps, mental health needs, and the importance of transparency and accountability. It has also reinforced his belief that strong schools are the backbone of strong communities.
Together, Brian’s healthcare leadership and school board service form a unique combination of experiences that directly translate to the responsibilities of a state legislator. He has demonstrated the ability to lead, to collaborate, and to make difficult decisions—all while staying grounded in the needs of the people he serves. He is not a career politician, but rather a community-focused professional who believes that effective representation starts with showing up, listening, and being accountable.

READY TO LEAD
If elected to represent Wisconsin’s 61st Assembly District in 2026, Brian Bock’s priorities would reflect both his professional expertise and his personal values. At the forefront is a commitment to expanding access to affordable healthcare. Drawing on his experience as a pharmacist, he supports expanding Medicaid, increasing price transparency, and reducing the cost of prescription drugs so that more families can get the care they need without financial strain.
Education is another central priority. Brian advocates for modernizing Wisconsin’s school funding formula to better reflect student needs, increasing support for special education, and investing in in-school mental health services. He believes that every child—regardless of background or ZIP code—deserves access to a high-quality education and the resources necessary to succeed.
Economic fairness and support for working families also play a significant role in his platform. Brian supports policies that promote a more equitable tax system, raise wages, and expand benefits such as paid family leave. He believes that hard work should lead to stability and opportunity, not financial insecurity, and that the state has a role to play in creating conditions where families can thrive.
In addition, Brian is committed to protecting Wisconsin’s natural resources and public health. He has identified clean water, particularly addressing PFAS contamination and aging infrastructure, as a critical issue for the district and the state. He supports science-based environmental policies, investment in clean energy, and the principle that polluters—not taxpayers—should bear the cost of environmental cleanup.
Finally, Brian emphasizes the importance of responsive and transparent government. He supports expanding access to voting, ensuring fair district maps, and strengthening public trust in democratic institutions. For him, representation is not about partisanship—it is about accountability, accessibility, and making sure every voice is heard.
At its core, Brian Bock’s candidacy is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: that government works best when it is led by people who are deeply connected to their communities and committed to serving them. With a background shaped by service, a career dedicated to helping others, and a clear vision for the future, Brian seeks to bring a practical, compassionate, and community-driven approach to the Wisconsin State Assembly.
